Neath travel to Bedwas on Saturday in the Admiral Championship (kick off 2.30pm) with the Blacks knowing they need to go up a gear from last week’s 20-10 win over Ystrad Rhondda.
For Bedwas are themselves enjoying a tidy run and last week they had a very good away win 26-19 at Maesteg Quins.
Neath make several changes from the side which started last week as there is plenty of healthy competition throughout the squad.
Iestyn Morgan returns at full back to form a strong back three with Aaron Grabham and Jonny Bayliss on the wings. Ryan Evans will be partnered at centre by Ben Atkins while Steff Williams and Elis Horgan are the halves.
Up front, Jack Powell returns alongside Sion Crocker and Tim Ryan in a solid front row with Jacob Blackmore and Jon Barley paired in the second row. No.8 David Griggs returns and will be flanked by the consistent Alun Jones and Owain Morgan.
Macauley Griffiths will be joined by the experience of Aaron Bramwell or David Langdon in covering the backs on the replacements’ bench with Gareth Lloyd, Morgan Thomas and Scott Hicks the forward reinforcements.
