Neath RFC

The Thomas family, Paula, Paul, Dilwyn, and Clive, have very kindly donated a Daniel Baird bleed control kit to the club.

This will be registered with the Welsh ambulance service as a location of a bleed control kit and it is thought to be the first in the town.

This comes about from a personal event that happened to a member of the Thomas family.

The kit was purchased from the Daniel Baird charity, which was founded by the mother of Daniel. If these kits were available at the time Daniel was stabbed, he could have survived. So a great big thank-you goes to the Thomas family for their generous donation that may save a life one day.
