Neath RFC

Neath play the first of three home fixtures to complete their WRU Championship campaign when Glamorgan Wanderers visit The Gnoll on Easter Saturday (kick off 2.30pm).

It will be Neath’s last game before the WRU Championship Cup final at the Principality Stadium and coach Patrick Horgan continues to give squad members the opportunity to impress.

Ceri Rees (Ammanford) comes in on permit alongside Jon Bayliss and Louis Rees in a speedy back three. Ryan Evans and Swansea University student Oliver Andrews from Ebbw Vale team up at centre while Iestyn Morgan is paired with Elis Horgan at half back.

The front row will comprise Jack Powell, Sion Crocker and Tim Ryan who will lead the side with Sam Langford and fit-again Jon Barley packing down behind. In the back row, Scott Hicks is at No.8 and is flanked by Alun Jones and Dyfan Ceredig.

Nicky Griffiths is on an experienced replacements’ bench alongside Chris Morris, Gareth Lloyd, David Griggs and Owain Morgan.
