Neath RFC

The re-launched Neath Rugby hospitality will kick off this Saturday, 25th August for the Pontypool fixture at the Gnoll.

The pre-match hospitality will start at 12.30 with a two course meal and a post meal Q&A with Pontypool and British Lion, Graham Price MBE and Neath and Wales icon Lyn Jones.

With a brand new Hospitality Manager in place this is a great opportunity to try the new Neath Rugby hospitality experience which will be in place for every home league game. Details of the different hospitality packages for league fixtures can be found here:

The Pontypool hospitality is open to both Neath and Pontypool supporters as we look to wish Pontypool good luck in their forthcoming 150th season in existence. Having enjoyed a delicious two course meal, supporters will have the opportunity to ask Graham Price and Lyn Jones questions on the game past and present.

Graham Price MBE is widely regarded as Wales’s greatest tight head prop and formed part of the famous Pontypool front row known as the ‘Viet Gwent’. Graham is also a distinguished British Lion, playing in a record twelve successive tests, playing in every match of all three southern hemisphere tours.

Not to be outdone in the legends stakes, Graham will be joined by former Neath and Wales international Lyn Jones. Having just been appointed as Head Coach of Russia and previously Head Coach at the Ospreys, Dragons, London Welsh and Neath, Lyn has great stories and insight to the game.

Entry to hospitality is £10 and match entry is £5. The hospitality suite overlooks the pitch so for those of you who wish to watch the whole game from the best view in the Gnoll, you are more than welcome to stay inside.

Please note that purchased league hospitality packages are not valid for this game and start the first home league game against Bridgend. Additionally the hospitality suite renovations start the following week, after Sunday’s Bandfest and ready for our first home league game.

It is expected that we will have a big take up for this fixture so please book early by ringing the clubhouse on 01639 643328 or ringing Keith directly on 07741 999220.

The on field action will then kick off at 2.30pm, as both Neath and Pontypool will be looking to sharpen their games for their respective Premiership and Championship league campaigns.
