Neath RFC

After the disappointment of the opening day cancellation, we head to Maesteg Quins this Saturday in the Welsh Championship Cup (kick off 2.30pm).

Then the following Friday, we get the first chance to see the Welsh All Blacks in Gnoll action when Birchgrove visit (kick off 7.15pm). Please come along early to kick-start our 150th campaign.

We are still awaiting our League fixtures from the WRU. The delay is having many serious consequences including our inability to offer season tickets yet as we don’t know what we are able to offer.

The lack of league fixtures also hits areas like match sponsorship, advertising, clubhouse bookings and we continue to press the WRU for urgent action.

In the interim, we have set a flat £5 charge for home games (Under-16’s free) until such time as we get our fixtures.

Despite a lot of rumour, there is no change in the club structure – Cambria Sports Group remain responsible for all operations, rugby and clubhouse.

However, alternative working structures have been and are being examined with the aim of improving the overall well-being of the club for the future.

We have been working directly with the Supporters’ Club and produced a range of special items on sale marking the 150th Anniversary of Neath RFC – some, including the limited-edition jersey, are selling fast so please take a look at what is on offer…

A lot of time and effort goes into providing regular news updates on this website. Recent articles have included squad news, team updates, fixture news, away game transport etc. Thanks as ever go to Colin Chapman, a long-time volunteer, for all his hard work.

Don’t forget our team for the weekend will appear on this website on Friday mornings.
