Neath RFC

Neath RFC are delighted to announce that centre Sam Harris will be joining the Club for the 2025/26 season! ⚫️🏉

Originally from Rhigos and now linking from Glynneath, Sam has proven himself as one of the standout players at the Championship level with Glynneath Rfc. Supporters at The Gnoll already know what he can do – his debut last week saw him cross for a sensational hat-trick against Gorseinon. Sam now joins the ranks to add even more quality alongside our established centres.

Head Coach Tim Ryan said:

“Sam has come to Neath after having a good year in the championship with Glynneath. He’s impressed in preseason with his ball-playing ability which will add a different dimension to our attack shape. Being such a pretty boy you’d think he’d be a bit soft – but far from it, he’s thrown it about all preseason. I’m really looking forward to seeing him play in black in the Prem.”

We’re proud to confirm that Sam’s player sponsor is Maesyffynon garage, a small, friendly, family-run business based in Rhigos, near Aberdare. With over 30 years of service, they are the first choice for reliable and professional garage services, including MOTs, servicing, diagnostics, body repairs, tyres, and even car sales. Their reputation for personal service and expertise makes them a trusted part of the community. 🚗

Sam’s arrival further strengthens Neath’s backline, and supporters can look forward to more attacking flair – and I’m sure we’ll see a lot more tries at The Gnoll! 🖤
