Neath RFC

Neath have named Neil “Chalky” White as team manager in succession to Martyn Morris.

The popular prop forward who retired from playing at the end of last season previously acted as Morris’ assistant and now steps up to work alongside coaches Simon King, Paul Williams and Paul James.

Neath general manager Gareth Howells said, “It is a natural progression really as Neil was Martyn’s assistant and as such has a head start. He is widely respected in the game after playing almost all his career in the Premiership with Aberavon and Neath. He knows the area inside out and is committed to helping the squad bring about an immediate improvement in results to start climbing the table.”
