Neath RFC have moved to sign back rower JACOB BLACKMORE who played five times for the Club last season and joins from Trebanos having also played for Aberavon.
Schoolteacher Jacob is a Neath man, living in Cimla and graduating via Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School.
He said, “I’m delighted to have signed for Neath for next season. I’m grateful to Pat Horgan and the club for this opportunity. Being a local boy, I’m honoured to be able to play for my home town club. I’ve played for the club a few times on permit last season and once when I was eighteen. Each time I’ve worn the jersey I’ve been extremely proud to do so.
“Neath is a massive club with so much history and really passionate supporters. I’m looking forward to next season and can’t wait to get started. I will give everything in the hope that, as a squad, we can get Neath RFC back to the Premiership as soon as possible.”
