Jarrad made his debut for Neath at Bridgend on permit from Aberdare just before Christmas and went on to establish himself at centre with a string of consistent performances before an unfortunate wrist injury sidelined him for the last four matches.
Now he is looking forward to staking a claim for a regular spot when the new season gets underway.
Jarrad said, “Signing for such a historical club as Neath is such an honour – something to tell the grand-kids even if I originally came in at one of the most difficult periods the club has faced.
“When Pat Horgan offered me a spot on the squad I couldn’t say no to a great club which is full of potential going forward and I am looking forward to gaining some real knowledge from the senior boys who have been at the top of Welsh club rugby for years.
“Fingers crossed I can give everything I can to get Neath back where they belong and give the fans something back as they really deserve it.”
The Rees brothers have already shown that they have what it takes to become Neath RFC players and more signings will be announced in due course.
