Neath are home to Bargoed at The Gnoll on Saturday (kick off 2.30pm) in the opening match of the WRU Championship season.

Neath completed their preparations with a crowd-pleasing 33-33 draw with Swansea last week – but now the real thing begins !

Bargoed lost both their warm-up games to Swansea University (28-29) and Clifton (12-57) but did not field their full team in either defeat.

Their full XV is little-changed from that which won the Championship last year when they won at Neath (20-22) in the league but lost the Cup Final (13-16) so expect another close one.

The Welsh All Blacks will be led this season by centre Ryan Evans and his return is one of five changes to the side which started against Swansea last week with

Elis Horgan, Ioan Jones, Jon Barley and Morgan Kneath also back.
