Neath RFC

It is “Up for the Cup” on Saturday when Neath travel to Beddau in the WRU Premiership Cup (kick off 2.30pm) looking to put their recent final kick league defeat behind them.

It was Neath’s second last-kick defeat of the season (the All Blacks lost in similar fashion to champions Merthyr In their first game) and now Neath and Beddau meet again just a fortnight later.

In the last round, Neath eliminated Cup holders Pontypridd 23-19 in a typically hard-fought affair while Beddau enjoyed a bye.

Neath make five starting changes from the side which lost 31-41 at Bargoed last week with wing Iestyn Morgan, centre Sam Harris, props Mason Morgan and Morgan Lovell and back rower Sam Morgan back in the frame while Tarik Dabeh and Steff Lewis are on the replacements’ bench.
