Neath RFC

As the nation continues to mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, after last week’s cancellations of sport Neath will be pleased to get back into action when they host Bedwas at The Gnoll.

The teams will hold a respectful silence ahead of kick off which is at 2.30pm and the Blacks deserve enthusiastic support after their win on the season’s opening day.

Neath beat last year’s champions Bargoed 24-16 and it was a real morale-boosting start for the Welsh All Blacks while Bedwas also tasted victory against Glamorgan Wanderers by 37-26.

Neath make several changes with prop Jack Powell, locks Sam Langford and Jacob Blackmore and flanker Dyfan Ceredig returning to the pack.

Behind the scrum, former Wales international Aled Brew comes in on the wing with Iwan Evans and Macauley Griffiths paired at half back.
