Neath RFC

Neath aim to put last week’s narrow 23-28 defeat by unbeaten WRU Championship leaders Pontypool behind them when they visit Bedwas at the Bridge Field on Saturday for an early international day kick off (12.30pm).

Earlier in the season, Neath won the corresponding fixture but Bedwas were boosted by last Saturday’s 20-13 win away at Narberth and the Blacks have not won at Bedwas for several seasons.

With half the league fixtures still remaining, Neath have the luxury of almost a full squad to choose from which makes selection difficult for the coaches.

As usual Neath make several changes including the return of ex-captain Aaron Bramwell at centre.

Neath v Bedwas (Away)

15 Lewis Evans; 14 Aled Brew, 13 Ryan Evans (captain), 12 Aaron Bramwell, 11 Louis Rees; 10 Rhys Harris, 9 Luc Jones; 1 Jack Powell, 2 Josh Clark, 3 Tim Ryan; 4 Sam Langford, 5 Jon Barley; 6 Morgan Kneath, 8 David Griggs, 7 Owain Morgan

Replacements –  16 Sion Crocker, 17 Jon Thomas, 18 Carwyn Sion, 19 Macauley Griffiths, 20 Ben Atkins

Referee – Mr. Elfyn Morris-Roberts (Swansea Valley)
