Saturday will be a big day for Neath captain Ryan Evans who, barring any unforeseen circumstances, will make his 100th appearance for the Welsh All Blacks at Maesteg Harlequins.
Very much a Neath man, Ryan made his debut for Neath as a teenager and he is in his first year of captaincy, leading the Blacks into second place in the WRU Championship.
With six League games remaining, Neath have been handed a timely fitness boost with nine players returning to training on Tuesday evening after missing last week’s game against Maesteg Harlequins.
Lewis Evans, Jonny Bayliss, Aaron Bramwell and Llewellyn Hawkes will augment the back division while up front, Sion Crocker, Josh Clark, Jon Barley and Carwyn Sion are back in training as is Elis Hopkins following his recent illness.
Team Management are pleased to have a strengthened hand for forthcoming challenges which will come thick and fast now.
