Neath RFC is saddened to learn that former winger Chris Abraham has passed away.

After winning a Welsh Youth cap in 1964/65, Chris played mainly for Neath Athletic RFC but fitted in several appearances for Neath too at a time when The Gnoll club was well blessed with wings like Howard Rees, Hywel Williams and John Roberts.

Chris was actually a “third generation” All Black as his grandfather and father played for Neath.

Like many Neath rugby men, Chris was employed at B.P. Baglan Bay and in latter years he had been a staunch supporter of the Neath Former Players.

Neath RFC’s sympathy and condolences go to his family and friends.
