Neath RFC can confirm that Ryan Evans has resigned from his role as Backs Coach at the club.
Everyone at Neath RFC would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Ryan for his outstanding commitment and service to the club. Across two brilliant spells at The Gnoll, Ryan has given everything to Neath — first as a player and more recently as a coach — and his impact in both roles has been immense.
As a player, Ryan captained the club for two seasons, leading by example with professionalism, passion, and total commitment. When the club needed him, Ryan stepped up into a coaching role, bringing the same dedication and rugby intelligence that defined his time on the field.
As Backs Coach, Ryan has shown exceptional energy, clarity, and insight, earning the respect of players, staff, and supporters alike. His willingness to serve the club whenever called upon speaks volumes about his character and his connection to Neath RFC.
Ryan is without question, one of the most gifted, driven, and committed young Welsh coaches in the game. While we are naturally disappointed to see him step away, we have no doubt whatsoever that he has a remarkable future ahead of him in rugby.
Ryan will always be part of the Neath RFC family, and he leaves with our gratitude, respect, and very best wishes for the next chapter of his journey.
