Neath coach Paul Williams has hailed some of his young charges.
Included in the Wales Under-18’s team to play Scotland at Murrayfield on Sunday are winger Frankie Jones and outside-half Luke Scully and Williams is delighted, “Their selection is reward for all the hard work they’ve put in so far and I am sure both will acquit themselves well. Neath supporters who have enjoyed the College games at The Gnoll this year will already appreciate the talent they bring to the game and we wish them every success.
“We have Tiaan Thomas-Wheeler playing full back for the Ospreys’ Select too and scrum-half Iwan Temlett on the bench. Also, our hooker Garin Lloyd has already impressed for Neath but, along with flanker Iwan Shenton, he is out at the moment. All told, it has been a rich crop for the College this year.”
Neath RFC’s best wishes go to the lads and to the teams.
