Neath RFC

Neath entertain Cross Keys at The Gnoll on Wednesday (kick off 7.15pm).

This is the first fixture between the two clubs this season – the original game was delayed as it clashed with the second round of the Cup and the earlier away game was postponed due to the Queen’s death and will be played at Pandy Park next Wednesday.

Following their comfortable 45-17 win at Glamorgan Wanderers on Saturday, Neath know that Keys will demand more – they are always redoubtable opponents and the Blacks freshen up the starting line-up as usual.

Lewis Evans is at full back with Llewellyn Hawkes and Louis Rees on the wings. Captain Ryan Evans is partnered by Sean Wilcox at centre with Steff Williams being partnered by Nicky Griffiths at half.

Up front, hooker Sion Crocker is propped by Gareth Lloyd and Jack Powell with Matthew Davies returning alongside Jon Barley in the second row. David Griggs is back at No.8 and he will be flanked by Owain Morgan and Carwyn Sion.

The experienced replacements’ bench features forwards Chris Morris, Tim Ryan and Morgan Kneath as well as Macauley Griffiths and Aaron Bramwell.
