Neath RFC

After two hard-fought wins on the road at Brecon (19-12) and Newbridge (25-13), Neath welcome old friends Cross Keys to The Gnoll on Saturday (kick off 2.30pm).

Cross Keys started the season with a home win over Bonymaen (30-27) but have since suffered losses to Merthyr (15-80) and Brecon last week (27-40). Neath supporters always look forward to the fixture as Keys can be relied upon to put up a good performance at The Gnoll.

In the Neath team, Llewellyn Hawkes switches to full back with Matthew Jenkins and Ki Morgan, fast becoming a crowd pleaser at The Gnoll, on the wings and Rhodri Cole resumes at scrum-half. Up front, experienced props Gareth Lloyd and Elis Hopkins return in an otherwise unchanged pack.

Neath’s crowds are up on last year and the All Blacks are hoping to attract a good home following again. Saturday’s forecast is for sunny weather and supporters are encouraged to arrive early for what promises to be another entertaining encounter at The Gnoll.
