Neath and Bargoed shared 10 tries – 5 each – in a high-scoring clash at Bargoed Park

Despite tries by hooker Sion Jones (2), centre Ethan Bolche, No.8 and skipper Ben Williams and a penalty try plus two conversions by outside-half Paul Short, Neath went down to a second successive defeat.

Home scores came from wing Morgan Powell (2), centres Joseph Scrivens and Luke Yendle and replacement Morgan Edwards with outside-half Josh Prosser  kicking four conversions and and Scrivens two penalties.
