Neath RFC

Neath visit Glamorgan Wanderers at the Memorial Ground, Ely on Saturday (kick off 2.30pm).

The Blacks won the reverse game 59-nil at The Gnoll in March but, as Maesteg Quins showed last week, that will have little bearing on this week’s outcome.

As usual, Neath make a number of squad changes for another important game.

Lewis Evans returns at full back with Llewellyn Hawkes and Ryan Griffiths on the wings. Captain Ryan Evans is partnered by Sean Wilcox at centre while outside-half Steff Williams makes his 50th appearance and is homing in on 500 points outside Luc Jones.

Up front, top try-scorer hooker Sion Crocker is propped by Morgan Thomas and Tim Ryan with Ioan Jones and Jon Barley in the boilerhouse. Morgan Kneath is at No.8 with Owain Morgan and Fergus Kneath on the flanks.

Another strong replacements bench features forwards Evan Kneath, Jack Powell, Carwyn Sion and David Griggs as well as Nicky Griffiths for what are forecast to be wet conditions.
