The announcement of the Martin Jones’ Select XV is still awaited ahead of the Good Friday benefit match at The Gnoll (kick off 7.00pm).

Gareth Gravell who will lead the Neath Veterans XV into action said, “We know that we will be up against some handy players and we know that the team is to be managed by legendary Wales and British Lions prop Gethin Jenkins who played alongside Martin at Cardiff Blues. We have a fair bit of fire-power ourselves even if it is slightly mellowed.”

Gates will be open at 6pm and there is pre-match entertainment from 6.15pm in the shape of two mini rugby matches between Bryncoch Under 7’s and Ystradgynlais as well as Alltwen Under-8’s and Trebanos.
