Neath travel west to play Llangennech in the WRU Premiership on Saturday (kick off 2.30pm).

The All Blacks have visited Llangennech before – winning a celebration game in December 1988 – but this will be their first encounter in the league.

Llangennech have been doing well recently and their last home game saw them topple Premiership favourites Merthyr 24-17 – a result which was to all reports very well deserved – and they were pipped in the last minute last week at Brecon.

Earlier Llangennech lost by just a single point 13-14 to Premiership leaders Pontypridd so Neath recognise that they will face a stiff challenge on Saturday.

Neath make only three changes from last week’s handsome 46-21 win over Bargoed with Rhodri Cole taking over from Ellis Lewis at scrum-half. Rhodri will also lead the side as Ben Williams makes way for Morgan Kneath and Gareth Lloyd returns at loose-head prop for Jack Powell.

Llangennech RFC’s Clubhouse is away from the field on Bank Road SA14 8UB – approximately 400 metres away – turn right after the Co-Op and up over the church hill.
