Neath RFC

Neath RFC make a rare appearance under The Gnoll floodlights when they face Llangennech at The Gnoll on Friday (kick off 7.30pm).

Last Saturday, Neath pulled off a fine 26-24 win at Bargoed which would have been even better had not the All Blacks conceded 12 points in injury-time.

The sole change in the starting line-up sees Josh Clark return at hooker to give Kian Jones a well-deserved rest after his heavy workload recently. The back-line is unchanged which is something of a novelty.

Earlier in the season, Neath had to work hard for their 28-19 win at Llangennech who number Premiership favourites Merthyr among their victims this season. They have also taken sides of the calibre of Pontypridd and Bargoed close so a keen contest is in the offing.
