Neath RFC supporters will be saddened to hear of the death after a long illness of Lyn Phillips, our former Safety Officer.

Lynn lived at Cadoxton and was a former South Wales Police officer who played his rugby on the wing for Aberavon Quins RFC.

On retirement, he became a familiar figure at The Gnoll where he carried out his Safety Officer duties efficiently, always with good common sense and was very well respected.

His funeral will take place at Margam Crematorium on Wednesday, March 15 at Margam Crematorium at 1.45pm and Neath RFC’s condolences go to his family and friends.
