Neath RFC

Latest weather reports suggest that there will be a fair bit of rain this week and the forecast for Christmas and the BIG BOXING DAY DERBY between Neath and Aberavon is a 70% chance of precipitation but temperatures are likely to be in double-figures.

Fortunately, The Gnoll is one of the fastest and best-draining grounds in the Premiership and supporters’ comfort is guaranteed as three sides of the ground are covered – so no need for an umbrella !

So come along and bring the family – it has been SIX long years since The Gnoll last featured the BIG BOXING DAY DERBY between Neath and Aberavon which is one of the highlights of the towns’ social calendar.

One more forecast – the rugby itself will be keenly-fought and entertaining; the two sides may not be in the best of form this season but Boxing Day always brings out something extra.

What we will not forecast at this stage is the result … !
