There is no sign yet of an end to the Coronavirus Crisis or when rugby will be able to resume but, when it does, Neath RFC and Tonna RFC will be teaming up to raise funds for the NHS.
As soon as a re-commencement is announced, ahead of League fixtures resuming, the two clubs will play a special fixture at Tonna.
Obviously, that time is not known so the precise date cannot yet be announced.
But the commitment is there from both clubs and the proceeds will be donated to the charity arm of the NHS.
The Crisis has impacted upon everyone in the community – the clubs hope that everyone comes through it safely.
We all have reason to be grateful to the NHS so whenever the time is right we will do our bit.
So watch this space for when the kick off comes.
