Neath RFC

Neath have been drawn away to Beddau in the quarter-final of the WRU Cup.

Skipper Ben Williams said, “It will be tough there’s no doubt about that but, after beating Pontypridd in the last round, we need fear no-one.

“It could have gone either way – overcoming the Cup holders took a big effort from everybody and so will Beddau who are joint top of the Division with Pontypridd.

“But it was great for our lads – especially the new players – who couldn’t get over the fantastic reception given us by our supporters at the end. There were a few tears but it made all the hard work worthwhile.

“But before we even think of the Cup and Beddau we must concentrate on the league. We’ve got a tough ask at Llangennech on Saturday as they took Pontypridd all the way too and they’ll be gunning for us.”

The tie will be played on Saturday, October 25.
