Neath RFC

Max Llewellyn who made his senior rugby bow with Neath is included for his first Wales cap against England on Saturday.

The centre, now with Gloucester, played the last 9 games of the 2016/17 season for the Welsh All Blacks as a 17 year old when his father Neath legend Gareth was coaching, and now he moves up to represent his country.

Meanwhile, Leigh Halfpenny who similarly made his first steps in senior first class rugby with Neath plays his 100th game for Wales – a magnificent achievement !

And Dafydd Jenkins, son of former Neath No.8 Hywel Jenkins, is also included in the starting line-up.

Neath RFC’s congratulations go to all players – let’s hope Keiran Williams joins them shortly !
