Neath RFC

Neath Rugby are coming closer to home for their kit supply in the next two seasons and have struck a deal with Macron Store, Neath who are based locally in Neath Abbey.

Neath’s General Manager Ben Jenkins said, “We spoke to a number of potential suppliers about this year’s kit.

“Primarily, we needed a recognisable brand that we can rely on. The Macron brand has blossomed over recent years and, as suppliers to the Scotland national XV, have forged an international reputation.

“It made total sense to link with them as a local supplier and we have worked closely with Macron Store, Neath to put in place a service which will match our supporters’ needs.”

“After listening to supporters, there are now three ways in which items may be purchased – an on-line shop, a more traditional shop which is based at Macron HQ in Neath Abbey and a Clubhouse sales point for replica jerseys.”

Neath secretary Mike Price said, ”Ben Jenkins and our commercial director Keith Hatherall have worked tirelessly to raise our sponsorship profile this summer. The Board are very keen to engage with the local business community as everyone benefits when the Club does well. The increasing number of local businesses who are partnering with us will become apparent in the coming weeks and it is all very encouraging as we re-establish the name of Neath RFC.”

Ray Pennock, Sales Director at Macron Store, Neath, said, “Macron Store Neath are delighted to be associated with Neath RFC and it makes complete business sense for us to be a business partner with our home town rugby club.

“We are very proud to have agreed an initial two-year deal with the club to become their technical kit provider and we hope to forge a long-standing working relationship with the club.

“It has been a pleasure to work with the club in the selection process of the new home and away jerseys and the players’ off-field training and leisure wear.

“Having Neath RFC back on board as a Macron club adds to our rugby portfolio which includes Scotland, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Northampton Saints.

“Macron Store Neath would like to wish Neath RFC all the very best of luck for the forthcoming Principality Premiership season and look forward to working closely with the Club over the next two seasons.”
