Neath Schools were beaten by Swansea Schools in the Dewar Shield at The Gnoll on Monday evening.

The bigger and far more mature Swansea side led 12-nil at halftime and rammed home their advantage in the second-half.

The Neath lads defended bravely and fell off very few tackles and, prompted by their clever half backs, even carved out a few opportunities but Swansea were far stronger all round and have a good crop this year.
