Neath have signed young back row forward Jon Hill from Newcastle Emlyn. The 19 year old played in the final game of last season at Cardiff and impressed sufficiently to earn a chance at The Gnoll.

Jon graduated via the Crymych Youth side that was coached by Neath legend Kevin Phillips and was recommended too by former Blacks flanker Adrian Varney and played his first season of senior rugby last year with Newcastle Emlyn.

He is already setting a keen pace in training and the Blacks are delighted to welcome him aboard.
