Neath RFC

NEATH start their preparations for the 2016/17 season on Saturday with a bespoke team-building day followed by a barbeque at The Gnoll when supporters are welcome to come along and meet the squad.

Team Manager Martyn Morris said, “With so many newcomers having come on board last season and this, it is important that we all get to know each other and map out our priorities as soon as possible.

“Fortunately, I bumped into two former work colleagues of mine Phil Davies and Tim Jones who work for a community interest company Rescue 365 and who offered their services to provide us with a comprehensive team-building package.

“Both Tim and Phil have great command experience in the public safety and control sector and it should be an interesting and challenging day for the squad – hard work with a serious side to it but fun too.

“The day will be rounded off with a barbeque at The Gnoll at 5.00pm when players can meet up with supporters. The weather is set fair so it should be a good day for all.”

Phil Davies from Rescue 365 said, “We are proud and delighted to be able to help Neath RFC as they embark upon a new campaign.

“Our instructors will offer the squad the opportunity to enjoy and experience challenges that will sharpen the senses. Our comprehensive team-building package will test the team in a controlled exposure to risk.

“By utilising a range of fire and rescue command tasks, we will be able to identify the personality and character traits of individuals when under pressure and provide a full debrief on each individual’s performance. Our aim is to improve performance, leadership and management skills.

“Rescue 365’s services can be applied to any business and workplace – anyone interested in engaging our services for training, risk assessment and event management should contact us on 01267.242627.”
