The biggest fireworks display in the Neath area will take place as usual at The Lextan Gnoll rugby ground, Neath – and it will take place on Friday, November 3rd this year !

The famous old rugby ground has been staging its Community Fireworks Display for many years now – and the event never fails to impress.

This year’s event promises to go off with a bang !

The fireworks will obviously be the highlight of the evening but there will be all the usual ‘support acts’ too with music, children’s fairground rides, burger bars, light refreshments and soft drinks available.

Neath RFC’s new chairman Matty Young said, “November is a big month for Neath RFC in the community and we are hoping to make this the biggest and the best Fireworks Display yet.

“It is always a hugely popular event for people of all ages in the Town and we try to build on the entertainment year on year.

“Although we have a Premiership rugby fixture against RGC the following day, we have gone for the Friday evening because there is no school the day after.

“November 5th itself falls on a Sunday this year – and we are mindful that children need to be at their best for the Monday.

“This year we are privileged to partner up with Neath’s fabulous Gwyn Hall on this fantastic event – tickets are on sale via the Gwyn Hall box office with ‘early bird’ discounts available now.

“Tickets are already selling fast and this gives the public of Neath the chance to save money and check out the Gwyn Hall’s Christmas programme as we head towards the festive period.

“Tickets will also be available on the night but pre-booking via the Gwyn Hall is advised to get your tickets early to avoid queuing on the night and save money.”

“It is going to be a busy weekend but the new team – all local volunteers – at Neath RFC are up for the challenge of making a success of one of the biggest events in the Town’s calendar,” concluded Matty.

Tickets may be purchased in any of three ways :-
