Neath RFC

Neath pay their first visit to the Welfare Ground in Newbridge since season 2004/05 on Saturday (kick off 2.30pm) – far too long an absence for two clubs who previously enjoyed a healthy relationship since the Second World War.

Neath registered a solid win at Brecon (19-12) last week and, given that unbeaten Newbridge also overcame the Breconians by seven points (26-19) the previous week, a keen encounter is promised.

Coaches Tim Ryan and Ryan Evans make their first changes of the season with Rhodri Wall replacing the injured Sean Wilcox at centre, Llewellyn Hawkes coming in on the wing and Ellis Lewis at scrum-half.

The pack has one change with Kian Jones coming in. Changes on the bench include Josh Clark, winger Ki Morgan plus Cai Arnold on his return.
