Neath have been boosted ahead of Saturday’s home clash with Maesteg Harlequins by the news that scrum-half Nicky Griffiths is likely to be fit to return.

The accomplished No.9 trained on Tuesday night and, providing there is no adverse reaction, should return for the first time since the Trebanos Cup game calf-injury.

With several injuries hampering selection, there could well be a couple of new faces in the All Blacks’ line-up for the match which kicks off at 2.30pm.
