Neath RFC

Neath’s Walking Rugby team stepped out onto The Gnoll last Friday when they played their return game against the Port Talbot Panthers.

Earlier in the year, the Neath side won the first game at Afan Lido where they enjoyed themselves to the full – and this time matters finished all-square with an evenly-fought 6-6 draw.

Neath Walking Rugby is a community initiative and is building strength, providing an excellent opportunity to improve fitness and wellbeing while promoting positive mental health too.

The Neath team is very much focused on social inclusion with the aim of developing positive purpose and building confidence within a team-friendly environment.

Last Friday both teams showed desire, determination and commitment but above all what shone through was the strong focus on inclusion and positivity for all individuals involved.
