Castell Howell Foods is a leading independent food wholesaler based in Wales, operating since 1988. Headquartered at Cross Hands Food Park, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, it serves a wide range of sectors including restaurants, cafés, pubs, schools, care homes, hospitals, and hotels across Wales, the Welsh borders, and South West England.
Sharp’s Brewery, founded in 1994 by Bill Sharp in Rock, Cornwall, brews Doom Bar, the UK’s top-selling cask ale. Named after a treacherous sandbank, this amber ale (4.0% ABV) features spicy hops and roasted malt. Acquired by Molson Coors in 2011, it’s brewed in Cornwall and Burton-upon-Trent.
In The Welsh Wind Distillery, founded in January 2018 in Tanygroes (near Cardigan, Ceredigion), crafts bespoke small-batch spirits—including award-winning gin, vodka, rum—and is pioneering Wales’s first grain-to-glass single malt whisky, using locally grown barley malted, distilled, and matured on site.
