🚨 PLAYER RE-SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

We are thrilled to announce that Lewis Evans will once again be pulling on the black jersey at full-back for Neath RFC this season! 🙌

A hugely popular figure at The Gnoll, Lewis has truly made this position his own in recent years, showcasing his exceptional footballing ability, versatility, and fierce determination. After recovering from injury, our supporters will be delighted to see him back fit and ready to light up the field again! ⚫️⚫️⚫️

His father Colin was captain of Resolven RFC and hooker – a position Lewis has no pretence too although he is one of the best footballers in the Neath squad and his versatility is such that he can operate effectively at full back, centre and outside-half.

Colin’s legacy at Resolven Rugby Club remains untouched, but there’s no doubt that Lewis is following closely in his footsteps, embodying all the qualities of a true rugby great. 💪

Lewis’ return is a massive boost for the squad and supporters alike.

We also want to take this opportunity to extend a HUGE special thanks to Lewis’ player sponsor, Dean Evans (Boz), whose support means the world to the club. Boz and his partner in crime, Julian Beynon have been absolutely magnificent volunteers, stepping in to assist the boys during training and match days, especially during the illness of our legendary kit man, Lee Llewellyn (more on Lee’s unreal contributions later!). Their dedication to the Maltese Cross has been unwavering, becoming the cornerstone of all that is good at Neath RFC. Their work behind the scenes and Boz’s financial support is humbling and makes a huge difference towards our club’s growth.
