Neath RFC

Neath play their second home league game of the season when they host Pontypridd on Saturday at The Lextan Gnoll (kick off 2.30pm).

For much of the Premiership’s existence, Neath and Pontypridd dominated affairs but both teams are seeking their first win this season.

After a much-improved performance against Ebbw Vale last week, there are changes in the Neath squad with Lewis Evans back at full back allowing Dafydd Howells to return to the wing. Skipper Ryan Evans is side-lined with a calf-strain so Kieran Charles returns at centre with Kristian Jones taking over the leadership.

Up front, newcomer Sam Pailor comes in for the injured Ioan Jones at lock and Fletcher Barry replaces the unavailable Dyfan Ceredig.

Steff Williams re-appears on the replacements’ bench which also features young lock Thomas John and Elis Hopkins.
