Neath RFC

The biggest game in the WRU Premiership on Saturday is the clash at The Gnoll where Neath RFC welcome league leaders Pontypridd (kick off 2.30pm).

Pontypridd have won all 6 of their league games so far – the victories coming at home to Narberth (35-12), Newbridge (66-17) and Cross Keys (26-19) and away at Brecon (34-17), Llangennech (27-19) and Bargoed (28-11).

They did, however, lose in the Cup to Neath 23-19 at The Gnoll in September and last week the Welsh All Blacks edged through to the semi-final stage on try-count in the 17-17 draw at unbeaten Beddau.

Neath-Pontypridd clashes rarely disappoint two sets of passionate supporters who are advised to get to the ground early.

There are four changes in the Neath starting line-up which sees the return of wing Ki Morgan with Jon Bayliss at centre. In the pack, crowd favourite prop Mason Morgan makes his landmark 50th appearance with Jacob Blackmore and Gethin Tremlett coming into the back-row.
