TEAM NEWS & SUPPORTER INFORMATION: NEATH v PONTYPRIDD (HOME) – SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 30th, 2024 KICK OFF 2.30pm
The big game in Welsh club rugby on Saturday is at The Gnoll where Neath entertain Pontypridd in a top of the Premiership clash (kick off 2.30pm).
Pontypridd currently lead the WRU Premiership by a point from the All Blacks as the two most successful clubs since the Welsh game went regional clash again.
Neath’s last home game resulted in a spectacular 46-19 win over Bargoed and last time out they won 28-19 at Llangennech to retain second spot in the Premiership.
Coaches Tim Ryan and Ryan Evans have named a team which shows five changes from that which started at Llangennech.
Gareth Rees comes in at full back, top try-scorer Ki Morgan returns on the wing with Kieran Charles back at centre alongside Morgan Jones who has completed his transfer from Llanharan. Up front Jack Powell replaces Gareth Lloyd at loose-head prop and in the back-row the ever-dependable Jacob Blackmore comes in for Casey Williams who is away.
To avoid congestion, supporters are advised to arrive early as a great deal of interest surrounds this game.
