Neath RFC

Neath RFC have lined up two very attractive pre-season games against cross-border opponents at The Gnoll next month ahead of the WRU Premiership season.

Old friends LONDON WELSH will visit on Saturday, August 23. One of the most famous clubs in the rugby world, the Exiles are celebrating regaining their National Division status in the RFU pyramid and Neath RFC supporters will be delighted to see them at The Gnoll once more.

New opponents ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT will follow on Saturday, August 30. RWB were in London Welsh’s Division last year but have since moved to the western region which sees them encounter clubs like Lydney, Devonport Services down to Launceston in Cornwall. Chairman of this rising club is Chris Elias, a former Wales Schools flanker from Dwr-y-Felin CS, whose late father Bryn did much valued work behind the scenes for Neath RFC.

Due to the away teams’ travel arrangements, both games will kick off at 3.00pm and the visitors will certainly test Neath RFC’s credentials head of the 2025/26 campaign.

Further details to follow closer to the events.
