The Premiership Tier 2 heads for an exciting climax this week with 5 sides still in with a chance of the play-offs.

The outcome hinges on two key games on Wednesday at Rodney Parade where leaders Newport play Cross Keys and on Friday at The Gnoll where Neath play Bridgend (kick off 7.30pm).

Virtually any combination of the five is possible for the play-offs but if Newport beat Cross Keys they will top the group and qualify for a home draw. However, Cross Keys need to win themselves in order to qualify.

Llanelli have completed their programme and will be looking on anxiously to see their fate although if they qualify it is likely that they will be away.

Neath against Bridgend on Friday evening could see either side top the table, finish second, third, fourth or even fifth so there really is everything to play for.

Finally on Saturday, Bargoed play Cardiff for sixth place and the only issue confirmed is that Swansea will finish bottom. The table now reads :-

P W D L FOR AGST Tries Points
Newport 6 5 0 1 119 78 15 22
Llanelli 7 4 0 3 172 122 23 21
