Expect some new faces at The Gnoll next season !

So says Neath coach Patrick Horgan who points out, “Nearly all the core-squad who earned us promotion back to the Premiership will be back with us for next year as it is only right that they should have a chance to prove that they have the fitness, attitude and skills to perform capably at a higher level.

“A lot of our players will have a point to prove but, having said that, we are going up a level and everybody realises that we will need a bit more quality which can benefit the squad as a whole.

“We are looking to build on the strong spirit and work ethic which exists in our squad already and we are looking for ambitious, keen players who will fit our mould.”

Pre-season training gets underway a little later than usual in the first week in July and Horgan stresses, “We expect players to turn up for that first session fighting fit and raring to go – it is that important.”
