Neath RFC

Midway through last season, lock forward RHYS MORGAN came on board at the height of Neath’s troubles – and has signed on for 2019/20.

Rhys appeared 13 times and has now formally joined the club from Trebanos after playing on permit and he said, “I am pleased to have signed for a big club in Neath with all its past achievements and great players. I am looking forward to the season ahead and hoping to help Neath get back to the Premiership as soon as possible.”

Rhys has impressed everybody with his skills and appetite for work and, having held his own in the Premiership last year, he is eager to get to grips with the Championship.

Coach Pat Horgan said, “With Jon Barley up and running ready to return too, we have a sound pool of lock forwards – and we may yet bring in another as we’ll need to have depth for the tough challenge which lies ahead.”
