No.8 Scott Hicks who made a big impression for Neath on permit from Maesteg last season has signed on at The Gnoll for next season.

After playing a leading role in the wins at Cardiff and Llanelli, Scott unluckily suffered a knee injury which ended his season but Neath have shown faith in his ability to bounce back and continue his progression over a full season.

Neath coach Gareth Llewellyn said, “Scott did well for us albeit over a brief spell last season and added something to our game. Once his recovery is complete and he gets up to full fitness, we feel we can develop his game still further and he will augment an already strong pool of back-rowers at The Gnoll.”
