With no game at the weekend, Neath RFC willingly permitted scrum-half Rhodri Cole to Pontypool RFC for their televised game against Swansea on Thursday night.

In typical style, Rhodri helped Pontypool beat the Whites (wearing blue) 41-31 – he was at the heart of a vital Pontypool win and was chosen as
Seren y Gêm by S4C.

Pontypool are chasing a top four play-off spot but the result leaves Swansea rooted to the bottom of the table.
