TEAM NEWS & SUPPORTER INFORMATION: NEATH v SWANSEA (HOME) – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16th, 2023 KICK OFF 2.30PM
Black meets white on Saturday when Neath entertain Swansea at The Lextan Gnoll (kick off 2.30pm) and a big crowd is expected for this traditional West Wales derby.
Neath have not played a league game since the 12-24 defeat at Pontypool on November 18 but they squeezed in some much-needed practice last week when the squad defeated a game Bridgend Athletic side 47-5.
Saturday’s game against Swansea will be an entirely different challenge as the two clubs meet for the first time in the league this season.
Centre Ryan Evans returns to lead Neath as one of eight changes. He is partnered by Kristian Jones with Lewis Evans returning at full back and Elis Horgan making a rare return from Bath University at scrum-half.
In the pack, Jack Powell, Sion Crocker and Tim Ryan form an all-change front row and Jacob Blackmore is back at lock.
The replacements’ bench is yet to be finalised.
