TEAM NEWS & SUPPORTERS’ INFORMATION – NEATH v TATA STEEL (HOME) – SATURDAY, APRIL 8th, 2023 – KICK OFF 2.30PM
Neath get back to league action when they host Tata Steel at The Gnoll on Easter Saturday (kick off 2.30pm).
After their cup defeat by Pontypool, Neath are now focussed firmly on the WRU Championship beginning with the visit of Tata.
The All Blacks make wholesale changes as the coaches continue their rotation policy with another game looming on Tuesday against Maesteg Harlequins.
Aaron Bramwell returns to full back and will lead the side while Neath Athletic Colts winger Llewellyn Hawkes makes another appearance on the wing after impressing on his league debut against Glamorgan Wanderers last month.
Tim Ryan is named on the strong replacements’ bench and, should he get onto the pitch, it will be the 50th appearance for the popular prop who has made a great contribution to the Club’s success on and off the field these past two years.
**It will be 125 years to the day in 1898 that Neath returned to The Gnoll after an absence of nearly nine years during which they played mainly at the Bird-in-Hand Field just across the road.
